Looking for a place to relax , making every minute of your life worth it and fun? Finding the right place to settle for a while and enjoy the splashy sound that the shore is offering? well I just thought you should consider the pure finely white sand Matabunkay Lian beach will offer you. located in the province of batangas. How to get there.
Matabungkay beach is located at Lian, barangay matabungkay, Batangas Province. If you are from other places the nearest terminal that I know for bus station is in Nasugbu batangas, a neighbor city next to Lian, from the terminal of Nasugbu you can rent a tricycle from Nasubu to barangay matabungkay . Rent of the tricycle may usually go around 300 php to 500 php. I strongly recommend if you have your own private vehicles to use it rather than to commute because once you have rented the tricycle to bring you to barangay matabungkay it will be very hard for you to find a tricycle to get you back to any terminals. If ever you will be lucky to easily find a tricycle to rent on your way back the price may not sound too good.
If your from Batangas city there are two options whether you want to take a bus or a passenger van. If you want to take a bus you could go to Balagtas terminal but there are often trips, but not most of the time there will be no trip on that day. In my case I took the passenger van located at Caedo commercial beside puregold at barangay Calicanto Batangas City. You will tell the dispatcher or driver that you want to take Nasugbu trip but you need to go to the place in Lian were you can easily rent a tricycle to go to barangay matabungkay. My fair for the van is 90php it is a student rate . I think the regular fair is 130php.

Barangay Matabungkay
After traveling at least 2 hours if you are from Batangas city you will reach Lian. Find a tricycle to rent that will go to barangay matabungkay. Note that in Lian and Nasugbu there are no passengers jeep but rather a van and a tricycle, From Lian the amount to cost you for renting a tricycle to go to Matabungkay may go around 300 - 400 php, If you could ask the driver of the tricycle to return on a designated time or day to fetch you back the cost will depend on your negotiations already.
Once you reach barangay Matabungkay , resorts will be all over the place competing for prices its up to you to find what resort you want to check in. There will be also an entrance that the barangay is regulating which cost 5 php . the beach itself is public . In My case we checked in at SEA BREEZE RESORT. Normal day rate for entrance only costs 30php per head. 500 for tables. 1500 for the floating balsa for overnight stay it cost 200 php per head. the day you enter until the next day morning before 12 am. the inclusions for the overnight which cost 200 php will have a free table. Rooms does have their different price and rates which ranges to 1500php and up.
the BEACH
We didn't brought any foods with us, but the good thing was, at the beach there are restaurants and foods to choose from day and night. At the beach you can put your own tent but with your own care specially your belongings but if you are checked in a resort you can put your things inside. There are many beach activities also you can do. There are Volleyball courts which I thought its free but it is public. Snorkeling which normally cost 100 php per person minimum of 4 persons per 1 hour. This includes Life jackets . Snorkeling gears and a pedal boat that you you will use and drive to go to a certain spot in the sea which there are many corals and fishes . They will ask you to bring biscuits or bread to feed the fishes. There are also jet ski and banana boat activities that ranges 1500 php above. *Note that Bonfire is strictly prohibited in some resorts because the sand will get polluted.March 26 - 27 2015 Barangay Matabungkay Lian Batangas
